Dillon District 3 held a celebration on September 11th to honor the teachers and support staff who were chosen as the Teacher of the Year and Support Staff Member of the Year for each school. The event was hosted in the Ellis Performing Arts Center lobby catered with heavy hors d'oeuvres. Along with family and friends, administrative staff recognized the unique contributions that each of nominee brings to the district. The nominees are as follows:

Latta Middle School-Lindsey Rogers (School Nurse)
Latta High School-Sharon Grissett (Financial Manager)

Principals Dollie Morrell, Carrie Ann Brigman, and Nan Carmichael shared their nominees' contributions and accomplishments. Superintendent Stephanie Ard and Board Chair Kyle Berry offered words of gratitude to each nominee. Superintendent Stephanie Ard announced the 2025 District Teacher of the Year and District Support Staff Member of the Year along with Chief Academic Officer Sandy Jones and Human Resources Director Stephanie Weatherford. The 2025 district winners are as follows:

Sarah Duprel will represent Dillon District 3 in the State Teacher of the Year competition that will be announced in the Spring at a ceremony hosted by the Governor's Mansion. The district would like to wish Sarah the best as she competes statewide.
